Caught 4 stocked rainbow trout at Houghton's pond today. Powerbait is the way to go.

I went over to Houghton's today, expecting to get some stocked rainbows from my slip-rig w/ Powerbait, but ended up getting no bites at all. So then at that point, I decided to use my baitcaster and go for some bass (which I'm more accustomed to catching). I was using a Green Pumpkin 4" Senko (T-Rigged, weightless); fishing around the lillies, when all of a sudden a nice lunker slams it! Maybe 15". A half hour later, I caught another! (Little smaller). All in all, great day! Although I was expecting some trout, I managed to snag some fat LMB.

I spent a little over 2 1/2 hours at Noanet today (in Hale Reservation). I fished around the docks on the North Beach, as well as the coastline. In total I caught 2 Largemouths, 1 pretty fat Yellow Perch, and even a giant Bluegill on my square bill crankbait, lol. The second bass was a friggin' lunker, didn't take measurements, though. I used my Strike King KVD 1.5 Shad/Purple square bill crankbait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS POND FOR ANYONE IN WESTWOOD/NORWOOD/DEDHAM area!

Finally!!! I caught a 10 in. Largemouth Bass and a 9 in. Crappie on a white, then a black and gold Bass Pro crankbait. I caught them in the Northern side of the pond (in a kayak), near the houses' docks. Great trip. GO CRANKBAITS!!!
