Went down with a buddy from the area and he took me to a sweet hidden spot to fish at, Super difficult to get kayaks in, but we managed and had a good day! We caught 6 fish, all Largemouth bass. Caught a couple small ones and my buddy caught some decent 1-2 lbers!

Caught 7 fish in all! A bunch of bluegill, a sunfish and three white perch. I fished early afternoon to about 7 in the evening. All were caught on a #2 Mepps Spinner! They were loving it!

It was a bit windy but I found a nice spot out of the wind by a dock where the bluegill started to hit. I caught a bunch in a row and then ended the streak with a white perch. I then let the wind blow me back to the parking lot down the shore line and caught the final fish of the day, a small white perch. Good success today!!!

Took the girlfriend out on her first fishing trip in a kayak and she caught 3 Bluegill, all in the .2lb -.4 lb range, and then she caught a white perch. I got a couple of hits, but landed nothing. Still a beautiful day on the water and she had a blast and has the fishing fever now!

She caught everything on a hard plastic swimming frog. I used a mepps #3 spinner and a swimming rapala to no luck.

Went out along the Southwestern bank looking for structure. I caught a 0.3 lb Bluegill, and a nice 4.6 lb Largemouth! First largemouth I have ever caught! I got the Bluegill on a crank frog and the largemouth on a #3 Mepps Spinner. Not bad for a quick trip!
