Comment: Skoda, Once late spring and summer hits, the lakers go deep and you don't run into them. In spring they are up shallower in the 5-20' range and they will smack a jerkbait and hit a silver buddy type bait as well. I know some guys get them on slug go's and super flukes too.

Comment: If 8-15 and 8-13 are dinks then i need to find different fish in the spring hahahaha plus this year was a 17-14 which i believe was the Gold Pin winner. I have never fish the Quibin, I would love. Maybe we can swap trips in the Spring? I will bring the Bait!!

Comment: I've only fished the Q never fished the Chu, but all i ever see from guys posting pics from the chu are dink lakers. On the other hand I have seen some pretty BIG lakers come out of the Q in spring!!

Comment: It is a special place. if you ever get the chance to get out there right after it opens, you can add lakers to your list of fish caught if you have not already. They hit jerks and silver buddies in April there and can be up to 10lbs.
